The Department of Anthropology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in linguistic anthropology or sociocultural anthropology with a focus on Melanesia/Oceania, Southeast Asia or non-Himalayan South Asia, with research specializations in one or more of the following: kinship, ritual, myth, materiality, visual anthropology, technology, infrastructure, or extractive industries. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the November 2016 AAA convention.
